OKTAVIA BUJNOWICZ (born in 2002)

She started musical education at the age of 7.
This year she has graduated with honours from
Karol Szymanowski Music High School in Katowice
having studied under Wanda Palacz.

She has been awarded in over 20 national and
international competitions. Among them 1st prize
at 23. Internationaler Jugendwettbewerb Forum Guitar Wien,
1st prize at the National Music Competition organised by
Centre of Artistic Education in Poland, 1st prize at IX
Joaquin Rodrigo International Guitar Competition in Olsztyn,
Grand Prix and 1st prize at 21. International Guitar Festival
and Competition „Cithara Ignea" in Żory.She has been
participating in many workshops, courses and masterclasses
working with the most acknowledged guitarists from all
over the world: Marcin Dylla, Gabriel Bianco, Carlo Marchione,
Kyuhee Park, Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Petr Saidl,
Thomas Offerman, Zoran Dukič.

She performs as a solist and as a member of various
chamber music ensembles. She hasperformed in the
most prestigious concert halls in Poland. Moreover,
she has recorded a coupleof auditions for the Polish Radio.

She has received numerous scholarships from Minister of
Culture and NationalHeritage inPoland and from Prime
Minister of Poland for remarkable artistic achievements.
This year shewas awarded with one of the most prestigious
scholarships in Poland - "Młoda Polska" - which supports
development of the most gifted artists in the country.
